I wonder why the words 'for this storm'" appear at the bottom of this report. Most often our precipitation occurs in the form of showers or more than one '"storm'". Also there is just one place to list the beginning and the end of precipitation. Often we have a beginning and end where the sun comes out and then another beginning and end during the same 24 hour period...like which one am I supposed to list? Also, in the report that can be turned in for a period of several days the words '"when rain gauge was emptied'" appear when the words '"has fallen into the rain gauge'" could better be used, especially when most of the time the measurement is '"0'"."
