| Notes | I measured the snow in several places and found 8 inches to be approximately the average depth. I measured the snow early in the morning because it was melting quickly. Funny how we really got hammered when there was no snow even as close as the airport! I forgot to remove the inner rain gauge, so was unable to get a rain amount. Today I melted the snow that did get into the rain gauge. One gauge read 1.27 inches, the other 1.45 inches. I cannot vouch for the accuracy obviously. |
